Our Story

Born from
Pride

AYITI 26 is more than a brand. It's a movement born from the historic moment Haiti qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, a celebration of resilience, culture, and national pride.

1804

The First Black Republic

Haiti made history as the first Black republic in the world, the first country in the Western Hemisphere to abolish slavery, born from the only successful slave revolution in human history. Led by Toussaint Louverture and Jean-Jacques Dessalines, our ancestors showed the world what was possible.

1974

First Caribbean Nation at the World Cup

In 1974, Haiti became the first Caribbean nation to qualify for the FIFA World Cup in West Germany. Emmanuel Sanon scored against the legendary Italian goalkeeper Dino Zoff, ending his record of 1,142 minutes without conceding a goal. A moment etched in football history forever.

2026

The Return, Ayiti Nan Mondyal

After over 50 years, Haiti returns to the world stage. The Grenadiers have qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup hosted across North America. This is not just football. This is 12 million hearts beating as one. This is the sound of a nation rising again.
